In July of 2002, Jarvis Construction, Inc. adopted the International Residential Building Code. This code does encompass not only high winds, but also earthquakes. Our buildings are engineered to ensure that they meet the IRBC code of 110 mph wind (130 mph gust) velocity. Any questions that you have concerning these codes, please feel free to contact us.
Jarvis Construction, Inc. is committed to preserving the environment. Trees improve the quality of living for all people. In addition to the environmental benefits such as reducing air pollution and soil erosion, trees serve to shade and aesthetically boost our community. Trees give a community its character. Trees also enhance the monetary value of our real estate. We therefore do not encourage removal of trees to accommodate our structures. We'd rather reposition the building.
